Carcassonne has a wide range of hotels from the luxury of the Carcassonne Best Western Hotel and Carcassonne Orient Express Hotel in La Cité to the budget Hotel de la Poste and Astoria in the low town of Carcassonne. Motels such as the cheap and functional Formula 1 on the outskirts also provide an inexpensive bed for those with transportation.

Access to the hotels and rooms is not stated in most of the publicity I have been working from, you will need to check with the hotel about lifts, wheel chair accessibility et al.

I've listed them with the luxury ones at the top moving down to the budget ones later down the page- don't have a heart attack when you see the prices of the Hotel de La Cité, it is possible to have a budget holiday in Carcassonne -honest, first time I stayed in the town I paid 100 francs for B&B for two and a place to store the bikes at the Relais du Square, it wasn't five star but after a month of camping and cycling through the Pyrenees it felt like the Ritz.
